CJC Public Outreach Saturday January 18, 2020 Today’s “Public Outreach” event smoothly the entire time. By that I mean we did not have any outbursts by unruly Muslims. Thanks go out to Pastor Maria, Pastor J, Roger, Jim and Diane for coming on out today to educate the public. In addition to passing out several hundred brochures, all of us had good discussions with people on Islam. These discussions were with both young and older patrons of the mall. It helps at this venue that Pastor Maria is fluent in Spanish as there are many Spanish speaking people. Recently we had a couple of our brochures translated into Spanish and people were happy to be given those. Overall foot traffic was a little down from an average Saturday. People have probably had enough shopping for a while. Once again, several non-Muslims from the Middle East came up and thanked us for what we were doing. Seems like they all feel like Americans just do not know Islam as that is what all say at the beginning of a discussion with them. I will post a picture from today’s outing on our website. Remember all of our brochures are free to download. So start up your own “Public Outreach” events in your community. It is amazing how so many people still do not understand what Islam is all about. We must educate those in the dark. Donations of course are always welcomed which help us offset the cost of printing all of the brochures we hand out each time we go out. Once again thanks go out to Roger, Diane, Pastor J, Pastor Maria and Jim for coming out and educating the public today.

CJC Public Outreach Today January 11, 2020 Today was the first time we were at this venue. Ontario Mills Mall is a sprawling mall if you have never been there, it has to be one of the largest in California. For this entire mall they only have one area for expressive activity or free speech. Thanks go out to Diane, Pastor Maria and Pastor John for coming out to educate people on the facts of Islam. Things started of going very well. There were plenty of shoppers and we were passing out brochures, talking with people and even having a few debates. Then the mall manager came up to us about an hour into our event and said the mall policy was that we had to remain seated and wait for the shoppers to come up and ask for a brochure. Standing up and offering brochures was not permissible. That put a damper on our outing. Even though the people passing by remained at a good pace, very few would actually stop and ask for a brochure. We still had several conversations with a lot of Christians. All thanking us for what we were doing and took brochures. This was one of the few times where people asked if they could have a few to pass out to others. One guy came up to us very interested in what we were doing. Asked some questions and spoke with all of us. He identified himself as a Satanist. He said you probably thought the star was a Star of David dangling from his neck. He had many questions and took one of all of our brochures. I will post a few pictures on our website, so be sure to check it out. Again any donations are greatly appreciated to help offset our costs of printing brochures.
