Today’s Public Outreach Saturday 9-26-26
WOW! What a terrific Outreach we had today. Thanks go out to Ken for suggesting this one. It took us almost 2 months to finally get an approval to have our outreach. Jim, Ken and I were busy the entire time handing out brochures, talking to people and answering questions.
I was somewhat surprised to see the diversity of people both culturally and ethnically. And the demographics spanned the entire spectrum. We spoke with teenagers and older ones I would say into their 80’s. And the interesting thing was both the young and old had positive and negative comments. One of us were always talking with someone. We even passed out some of our brochures done in Spanish which has not happened in a long time.
One man and wife who were able to get out of Iran only 10 years ago stopped to see what we were doing. They were so happy and gracious to see someone like us out spreading the truth. They stayed and talked for quite a while about their experiences in Iran. She told us of her imprisonment 3 different times for not covering her head. They would have stayed and talked all day if not for us cutting it a little short. They are still so very happy to be living in America. Another Iranian lady stood and talked to me for quite some time. She fears for some of her relatives as it has been a long time since she has had contact with them. Another couple from Cuba came up and talked with us for a long time. He said over and over he can’t believe how stupid the younger generation is for wanting the US to turn to Communism.
Many other people from all walks of life, Japanese, Chinese, Hispanic, came up to thank us and talk for a while.
We had one irate Muslim come up and all he could say was who is paying you to spread these lies. Is it the Zionists regime stuffing your pockets with money? When he said I bet you do not even know what the Quran is, I showed him my well read Quran. Later on he stopped back again with a friend who said he was a Jew. He immediately started to film our conversation with him and his friend. On a few different occasions groups of 2 or 3 young Muslim girls came by shaking their head. I offered them one of our Muslim brochures which they all took. Hopefully they will read it.
