After 17 years in prison he was freed. Why was he not labeled a traitor?

Common in the democrat party to not label a traitor what they are, they don’t even label their domestic terrorists (BLM, antifa, jihadists, etc) as what they are!! why is anyone surprised? I guess he might follow the path of another traitor, John Kerry, and run for Congress or some other political office. Look at what they call themselves!

The left needs him to run for Congress, or a higher office, just like John Kerry.
