You are here: Home / Uncategorized / CJC Public Outreach Saturday Evening. It was a nice cool evening tonight with many shoppers walking around at this outdoor mall. Thanks go out to Pastor J and Pastor M for coming out to educate people on the truth of Islam. Pastor M is fluent in Spanish which was great as there were several Spanish speaking people passing by. We also have a couple of our brochures translated into Spanish. A lot of people said no thanks when asked if they wanted a brochure. I think this was mainly due to the lack of good lighting at the space the mall had assigned to us. It was somewhat hard to see our posters and the brochures we were handing out. All of us had several good conversations and of course there were a few derogatory remarks from the Muslims passing by. One man and wife came up to us wondering what we were doing. It turns out they have lived just a few blocks from Muzammil Siddiqi’s mosque in Garden Grove. They told us when the mosque was being built Muslims would walk their neighborhood seeing if they could buy homes from the owners. Surprisingly they have never been to the mosque. I encouraged them to go and stop in the book store and see the type of literature being sold. By the end of our time we had passed out about 200 brochures so it was time well spent. Next time we will try and get the space by the Corner Bakery which seems to have a lot more foot traffic than where we were tonight. Again thanks to Pastor J and Pastor M for coming on out tonight. I will post pictures on our website, so stop by. Also we are trying to think of other ways we can educate the public. Still so many people just do not know the truth and facts. Let me know if you have any good ideas. We need to get through to those who do not read books, search out articles on the internet or watch videos which tell the truth. There are plenty of these people. We have identified six fronts we need to address: Houses of Worship, K-12 Schools, Law Enforcement, Elected Officials, Colleges and Universities and Immigration. Let me know if you have ideas.
