The foot traffic today was a bit less that what it normally is for a Saturday. Since school just started in many districts, perhaps that is the reason. Thanks to Jim for coming out during most of the event. By the end of the day we had passed out over 600 brochures. If half of these get read, then it was a great day.
Since we set up our booth close to a mall entrance we got people both coming into the mall and leaving. Nobody came up asking for information or brochures and a few said no thank you, we still had plenty who wanted one or more.
We had a few positive conversations with people and only a couple of negative ones. Muslims still enjoy taking pictures of us and the posters around our booth. None of them were interested in having a discussion with us. They left after taking their pictures.
The most interesting conversation was a legal immigrant who came up to me and started talking and wanting to know more about what we were doing. I found out he emigrated from Armenia. We discussed the Armenian genocide, Turkey’s position in the middle East affairs and of course Recep Erdogan. He just couldn’t understand why there was not more negative press, conversation, media on Turkey. Hed took many of our brochures and said he would like to join in with us the next time we are out.
I will put up a picture on our website of our booth today. Stop by at www.CounterJihadCoalition.org to see it. We are at a critical time in the history of our country. We plan on going out much more to inform people that this election will determine if we head towards the direction of socialism or can turn things around and remain a capitalist republic.
While at our website, hit the donate button. All donations are greatly appreciated no matter how small or large. They help offset the cost of printing up the brochures we pass out.

Wow, today was a blockbuster day. I set up our booth at one of our best shopping malls. Let me digress for a minute, you read that right, I set up our booth. Optimally I like to have a total of three people present for our “Public Outreach”. This way two are passing out brochures and talking to people while the third is sitting down at our booth with a watchful eye and folding brochures. Lately there has been just two of us, which is OK you just have to have your head on a swivel. Today the person who said he would be there never showed up. So I was there by myself the entire time. Like being abandoned at the last minute. All he had to do was call or text me that he would not be there, but nothing. So I can never rely on this person when he says he will be there. We get verbally attacked almost every time we go out and once in a while there is some physical attack. Sometimes this is someone tearing up brochures and throwing them at us and other times a person to person attack. For those who do not believe it, yes we are in a war for our countries survival. People need to recognize that and do things accordingly. Be alert and aware of your surroundings when you go out into the public.
Back to the great day. It was not stop all day, I even stayed an extra hour talking with people and handing out brochures. I was close to an entrance so I got shoppers going and coming. On a typical day I would say 25% of the people say no thanks when offered a brochure. I would say that number today was more like 5% said no thanks. Almost everyone took a brochure and thanked me for what I was doing. Then when I had to sit down and fold more brochures, people would see the posters on the booth and ask me if I had any information they could have. This hardly ever happens. So with passing out brochures, talking with people and folding brochures when I ran out, I was busy the entire time. A few Jewish people took an assortment of brochures and kept saying thank you for doing this. One lady even stopped on her way out and thanked me and asked if she could have a few more for her friends.
My booth was set up close to a salon. After I had been there a while an employee came out looked at the posters and asked for a brochure. We spoke for quite some time and later she came back out wanting more information and profusely thanking me for doing what I was doing.
The first negative encounter came from an atheist. We went back and forth for a while and then he took off. The other one came from two Muslims. When they first entered they each took a brochure and went on shopping, then a while later I saw them leave. Thirty minutes later they came back in staring at me (I was sitting down folding brochures). Then they split one went to my right the other to my left at which time I stood up and glared back at them. They went in behind a marquee which was behind me and then peeked around the sides. When they saw me recording them, off they went never to be seen again.
By the end of the day I had passed out over 800 brochures. So it was a good day. I am just trying to figure out why almost everyone wanted information. We have been at this mall many different times and never was it like this. I was in a different location than what we are normally.
I have gone on enough. I will post a picture on our website. Everyone needs to get into this fight. There are plenty of things to be done and we all need to be active. If you cannot get involved, we appreciate any donations. They are used to help pay for our brochures.
