We were back into one of our favorite shopping malls today. But they would not allow us our favorite spot, which has the most foot traffic. The mall management told me that spot was not a free speech zone any more. When I checked in with security, they told me it was just temporary. I thought maybe some construction or remodeling was going on so I took a look before going to our assigned area. Not to my surprise nothing was going on. If you don’t think our free speech rights are being squeezed, here is a good example. We’ll see what area management assigns us to the next time.
We were busy the whole day, but not nearly the amount of foot traffic as there is at our normal spot. Thanks go out to Jim for coming on out to support the outreach. Even though the foot traffic was lower, people wanted to talk about events going on in the US and worldwide when it comes to Communism and Islam. Several people were stunned about Mamdani being elected as the mayor of New York City. The situation going on with Iran was another subject of conversation. One older guy came up to thank us for what we were doing and stay and talked for a long time. Ended up he was from Cuba and live the nightmare of communism. Towards the end to middle aged men from Iran came up and were really happy to see what we were doing to educate the public. Both said they wanted to join us the next time we are at that mall. We will see if they follow through and show up. Now is the time for everyone to be out educating the public, they are hungry for the truth.
